Polyester film/polyester fibre non-woven fabric flexible laminate (DMD) is a three-layer flexible laminate in which polyester fibre non-woven fabric(D) is bonded to the two sides of Polyester film(M). This product has excellent electrical insulating, heat resistance, mechanical strength and impregnated property. It is suitable for slot insulation, interphase insulation and liner insulation in Y-series electric motor and electric apparatus. Heat resistance is class B.

1 Technical requirements

1.1 DMD has two types according to the nominal thickness of the polyester fibre non-woven fabric.(Shown in Form 1)

As per Clause 215 of IEC15C, the product consists of two-layer of polyester fibre non-woven fabric(D) and polyester film stipulated in IEC 674-3-2, it has high dielectric property. It is suitable for the insulating process of mechanized insert slot.

6630A

0.05～0.10

6630A is more flexible than 6630,it is suitable for the process of handed insert slot.

1.2 General requirements

The general requirements are in accordance with Clause 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 in GB 5591.1-1985.

1.3 Dimension

Nominal width: 1000mm Nominal weight: 50kg±5kg

The splices should be no more than 4 in one roll.

2 Testing Method

2.1 General requirements should be checked by visual observation

2.2 Measure its width with the ruler whose precision is 1mm.

2.3 Property requirements should be as per GB 5591.2-1985.

3 Inspection, marks, package, transportation and storage

3.1 Inspection items are as per Clause 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3, as well as Item 2, 5, 7, 8 of Form 2 or Form 3 in Clause 1.4.

3.2 The other items are as per GB 5591.1-1985

4 Remarks

The properties ( mechanical strength, breakdown voltage and flexibility-stiffness ) of this product are different according to the nominal thickness of the polyester film are mainly The thickness of the polyester film should be identified in purchasing order or contract.
