How to Deal with PT Disconnection Fault?

For voltage transformer circuit disconnection, the following three steps should be taken to deal with it:

(1)According to the relevant provisions of relay protection and automatic device, exit the relevant protection to prevent misoperation;

(2) Check whether the high and low voltage fuses and automatic switches are normal. If the fuses are broken, find out the reason and replace them immediately. When they are broken again, they should be treated with caution;

(3) Check whether all the connectors of the voltage circuit are loose or broken, and whether the switching circuit is in bad contact.

For open secondary circuit of ct, the following two steps should be followed:

(1) Immediately report to the dispatcher on duty, according to relaying protection and automatic device related provisions out of the relevant protection;

(2) Find out the fault point, under the premise of ensuring safety, try to open the terminal near the open circuit will be broken, short circuit shall not use fuse. If the open circuit cannot be eliminated, power outage treatment should be considered.
