How to Deal with Transformer Fire?
Transformer fire is a dangerous accident, because the transformer has a lot of flammable substances, processing is not timely may explode or make the fire expand.
The main causes of transformer fire are:
1. Damage and flash of casing, oil flowing out under the pressure of oil pillow and burning on the top cover.
2. The transformer internal fault causes the shell or radiator to break, causing the burning transformer oil to spill out.

If the transformer is on fire, the following treatments should be made promptly:
1. Disconnect the circuit breaker on each side of the transformer, cut off the power supply on each side, and quickly put in the standby transformer to restore the power supply.
2. Stop cooling device operation.
3. When the main transformer and the high plant transformer are on fire, the generator should be disassembled first.
4. If the oil is burning on the top cover of the transformer, it should open the lower accident and put the throttle to put the oil to the appropriate position. If the transformer is on fire inside, it can not put oil to prevent the transformer from exploding.
5. Use fire extinguishing devices to extinguish the fire, such as dry fire extinguisher or foam fire extinguisher, and notify the fire brigade if necessary. In the event of such an accident, the transformer protection shall act to break the circuit breaker. If the circuit breaker is not disconnected due to fault, the transformer should be manually disconnected immediately to open the disconnecting switch that may lead to the transformer power supply.
