Performance and Characteristics of Epoxy Board

Epoxy board, also known as epoxy fiberboard, epoxy phenolic laminated glass cloth board, is a high polymer which can be used in medium temperature environment. The epoxy plates will be classified into grades Y, A, E, B, F, H, C according to their heat resistance.

The higher the temperature is, the worse the insulation will be. In order to ensure a good insulation performance in practical applications, a high allowable operating temperature is set for each insulation. Only when all kinds of insulating materials are at this temperature, can they be used safely for a long time.

Epoxy plate can be widely used in various machinery, electrical and electronic industries in high insulation structure parts, with high mechanical and dielectric properties, good heat resistance and moisture resistance, its heat resistance up to F class (155 degrees).

Characteristics of epoxy board:
A variety of forms
Through the use of different resins, curing agents, modifiers, etc., can be made into various types of epoxy boards, can be fully adapted to the application of various products.
Low contractility
As there is no product water or other volatile substances in epoxy board when curing occurs by adding curing agent, it has low curing property during curing process.
Curing is convenient
As epoxy boards will only deform at temperatures exceeding 180℃. Therefore, in the temperature range of 0 ~ 180℃, as long as the appropriate curing agent is selected, it is easy to cure.
Strong mechanical properties
After curing, the material has strong mechanical properties because it is epoxy resin system.
Strong adhesion
Due to the existence of special substances in epoxy board, it has high adhesion force.
