126KV Dry Type Porcelain Wall Bushing

Description

Dry type porcelain wall bushing is an electrical component used in high voltage power systems to provide a passage for the conductors to pass through the walls of an electrical substation. It is typically made of porcelain material and is designed to be mounted on a concrete or brick wall.

The dry type bushing is called “dry” because it does not require oil or other insulating fluids to operate. This is in contrast to oil-filled bushings, which use oil as a dielectric to insulate the conductors.

Advantages:

1.The porcelain material used in the construction of the bushing is chosen for its high mechanical strength, high electrical insulation properties, and ability to resist extreme temperature fluctuations.

2.The bushing is designed to withstand high electrical and mechanical stresses, such as those that occur during a fault or short circuit.

Application:

Dry type porcelain wall bushings are commonly used in high voltage power systems, including substations, power transformers, and switchgear.
