Six Reasons for the Trip of Fan Converter

1.Converter selection capacity may be small; Generally, when selecting the converter, it should be about 20% larger than the rated power of the motor, so that when the motor reaches full load, the converter can still drive.

2. Due to the clearance inside the fan, due to the deposition of gas impurities and rust in the blower, the clearance between the rotor, the rotor and the cavity will be reduced, so as to increase the load resistance, making the motor and frequency converter overload.

3. Because the power supply voltage is high, exceeding 410V, the internal heat of the converter will increase, and the converter will overheat and cause protection trip. If the supply voltage is lower than 360V, the working current of the converter will increase and overcurrent protection trip will occur.

4. Due to more dust in the internal plate and radiator of the frequency converter, the heat dissipation effect is greatly reduced, making the frequency converter overheat protection trip.

5. Encounter thunder weather or large equipment starting will cause the fluctuation of power grid voltage, frequency converter will appear voltage loss protection trip.

6. The serious fault is that one of the rectifier modules inside the frequency converter is damaged, causing the other two channels to be in overcurrent state when working.
