Transformer Overheat Fault

Transformer Overheat Fault

Transformer Overheat Fault

1. Core overheating fault
Overheat fault of transformer core is a common fault of transformer, which is usually caused by multi-point grounding or short circuit of core caused by quality problems such as design, manufacturing process and other external factors.

2. Overheat fault of winding
The winding loss of transformer usually includes DC group loss, additional winding loss and stray loss in metal components. Failure of these losses to meet relevant standards may cause transformer windings to overheat.

3. Lead diverter failure
Due to the lead installation process problems, the outlet cable of the high voltage casing collided with the copper pipe in the casing, or the force in the contact part was inspected, which caused the lead overheating fault.

4. Overheat fault of tap switch
The incomplete contact of the tapping switch’s movable and static contacts causes corrosion and oxidation of the hoe’s surface, resulting in excessive contact resistance between contacts, resulting in overheating accident.
