1. Insulation board
1) 50/50 cardboard (wood fiber and cotton fiber account for 50% each), it has good bending resistance, heat resistance, suitable for motor insulation protection layer. And vibration resistant insulation parts, etc.
2)100/00 type cardboard (all wood fiber), thin cardboard (usually called green shell paper or yellow shell paper) can be made into a composite material with polyester film, used as the insulation of class E slot; Thick cardboard can be made of some insulating parts and protective layer.

2.Synthetic resin fiber paper
Made of synthetic resin fiber paper. Mainly polyester fiber paper; Aromatic polyamide fiber paper, aromatic polysulfone amide fiber paper and oxadiazole fiber paper, etc. They have excellent electrical and mechanical properties and are the key insulation materials for improving the insulation level of small and medium-sized motors.
Polyester fiber paper (also known as polyester non-woven fabric) can be made with polyester film composite products (DMD). Used for insulation of class B motor tank. Aromatic polyamide fiber paper, aromatic polysulfone amide fiber paper, oxadiazole fiber paper and other high temperature resistant fiber paper, often with polyester film, polyimide film composition of composite insulation, used for F, H class motor groove insulation and large motor winding wire transposition insulation.

3. Alkali free glass cloth tape
It’s made of glass fiber. The thickness varies from 0.06 to 0.1 mm, and the most commonly used specification is 0.1 x 12 mm. Mainly used as a protective layer for coil or winding insulation.

4. Synthetic fiber tape and rope
There are mainly polyester fiber belt and polyester fiber (radial) and glass fiber (weft) interlace belt. This tape has higher heat resistance than cotton tape and greater elongation than glass tape, and can be used for coil binding. Polyester sheathed glass wire rope (referred to as polyester glass rope) has good heat resistance and high mechanical strength, and can be used for binding the winding ends of medium and large motors.

5. Enamelled glass cloth (tube)
It is made of non – alkali glass cloth (tube) dipped in insulating paint and dried. The insulation class and properties depend on the type of insulating paint used. Lacquer cloth is mainly used for groove insulation and layer insulation and other pad insulation; Knee tube is used for insulation of coil or winding exit wire.
The winding insulation structure composed of varnished cloth should generally be impregnated, so attention should be paid to the compatibility of varnished cloth and impregnated paint. If not chosen properly, the film of the paint cloth will swell or fall off during the impregnation process.

6.Banding belt
It is a semi-cured ribbon material made of silane treated long glass fiber and soaked in thermosetting resin through the whole yarn, also known as weft free tape. Weft free tape can be divided into polyester type, epoxy type, polyaryl ether phenol type and polyamine-imide type according to the type of resin used. Weft free tape is mainly used to bind the rotor windings of a motor instead of wire (tape).
