General transformer charging should be put into all the relay protection, in order to ensure the stability of the system, the active power of the relevant lines should be reduced before charging. The neutral ground switch must be closed before the transformer is charged or stopped.

In general, when the high and low voltage sides of the 220kV transformer have power supply, the power should be charged by the high voltage side, and the low voltage side is parallel; In the case of power failure, the low voltage side is disassembled first.

When the transformer of the ring network system is operated, the charging end should be selected correctly to reduce the voltage difference at the parallel places. When the transformers run in parallel, the conditions for parallel operation shall be met.
